These calendars were one of our bestsellers in 2021 and literally flew off the shelves so we're delighted to have the 2022 calendar in the store. I've already managed to poach one for my own kitchen.
Created by the super talented textile designer, printmaker & craft maker Isla Middleton from her Devon studio. Each month features a beautiful hand-carved linocut print in an earthy colour palette. Isla has already worked with brands like Morris & Co and if you look at the stunning artwork it's easy to see why she's in such demand.
But its not just the artwork that makes this calendar something special - It also promotes the importance of seasonal, and locally grown organic food and the positive benefits of connecting with nature. Each month has advice and practical growing tips to help you plan the year from seed to harvest. A growing chart is also included at the back of the calendar. All the botanical details have been provided by the Head Gardener at Sharpham Trust in Devon, who manages their 19th Century Walled Vegetable Garden organically and the ornamental grounds.
This is perfect for any lover of botanical illustrations or keen gardeners, allotment growers, or anyone just wanting a seasonal food calendar.
Each month includes:
- A full page illustration of seasonal fruit & vegetables.
- Tips and knowledge for the month, including what to sow and harvest.
- A Growing Chart will feature at the back, with an overview of the sowing and harvest schedule
- Dates for the phases of the moon, bank holidays and seasonal festivals.
Printed using eco inks on 100% recycled, textured light grey rustic paper produced from waste fibre.
