Introducing Paige Mitchell to the Store

Handmade Stoneware Planter shown on a garden table filled with lovely fresh basil

You simply have to pick up and handle Paige Mitchell’s handmade ceramics.  They are so beautifully tactile and I can’t resist a frill in any form but particularly in pottery and these frilly planters with matching frilly saucers are simply heavenly.

I've been eyeing these planters for some time and looking for the perfect excuse to stock them and now I'm excited to say it's time!  I'm launching with two different shapes and materials - there's the bigger terracotta planter, perfect for adorning a kitchen or a garden table and a smaller one made in stoneware which I fully intend to have by my new kitchen sink filled with voluminous basil or fresh mint! Both planters can be used either indoors or outdoors.

Working out of her studio in Norwich, Paige is inspired by antique pottery and classic shapes and develops her ideas through her personal passions - gardening, sketchbook drawing and both wheel thrown and hand-built ceramics.  When not at the wheel creating irresistible planters for use both in the home and your garden she is gardening, growing both edibles and ornamentals, and spending time with her dachshunds Rickley and Henry.

These planters are absolutely beautiful and they’re not going to hang around long. Especially once I’ve snaffled some for Hare House! You can view both via the link below:
