Collection: Gluggle Jugs
Gluggle Jugs are a national institution! If you have never had the pleasure of hearing one poured then my friend you are in for an absolute treat. They make a funny glugging noise and whether you are five, or eight-five, it always brings a smile to everyone’s face! My littles absolutely adore the noise our jug makes, and demand it every dinnertime!
The first jugs date back to Staffordshire in the 1870s, though their popularity was boosted in the 1950s when the Queen & Prince Philip were gifted a pair.
These days they come in a gorgeous array of colours and sizes to suit a cottage or modern home, and are the perfect gift for yourself or someone else. We use ours as a water jug but they can also be used for wine, as a utensil jar, a vase or simply an eye-catching ornament.
