I am delighted to say we have just received in the 2022 Growing Through the Seasons Calendars from Isla Middleton.
Isla is a super talented textile designer, printmaker & craft maker based in Devon who creates beautiful objects for the home and has already worked with the likes of Sanderson, Morris & Co and White Stuff. Her stunning foraging posters have been constant bestsellers for us since we started stocking them last year and her Growing Through the Seasons calendar is no exception.
The 2021 calendars sold out FAST last year and as only one print run is ever made, I know there were lots of disappointed people. So here is your heads up people, the 2022 calendars are in, they are absolutely divine as usual and are just perfect presents for any keen gardener, allotment grower, seasonal cook or people like me who love the seasonal detail but are captivated more by Isla's amazing designs. I still think I am going to frame some of the visuals from the 2021 calendar they are so gorgeous.
Each month features a beautiful hand-carved linocut print in an earthy colour palette, printed using eco inks on 100% recycled, textured light grey rustic paper produced from waste fibre. Alongside the image is advice and practical growing tips to help you plan your year from seed to harvest with all the
botanical details provided by the Head Gardener at Sharpham Trust in Devon, who manages their 19th Century Walled Vegetable Garden and ornamental grounds. A growing chart is also included at the back of the calendar.
