A handmade bread bag on a kitchen counter with a bread board and a fresh loaf of sourdough

Handmade Helen Round Bread Bag in Garden Linen

Made from 100% linen with a natural cotton tie and a handy cotton loop for hanging, these bread bags keep your homemade or bakery bought bread, rolls and patisserie fresher for longer due to the breathable linen which is both sustainable and eco friendly.

Helen Round is a British textile designer and print maker based in Cornwall. Her classic designs, inspired by the flora and fauna of the countryside and coastline are hand printed onto the highest quality linen using traditional screen printing techniques.  This beautiful bread bag has been hand printed using water based inks and is made by a small team of artisan makers.

Also available in a natural Hedgerow design

Handmade salt pig with wooden scoop

Handmade Salt Pig with Wooden Spoon

This handmade salt pig with a small hand carved wooden spoon has been a bestseller for us since the day we launched them.  With a raft of 5* reviews on our website people just love them.  Perfect to sit aside your stove or aga.

Handmade Aga Top from Helen Round Designs in her bestselling bee linen

Helen Round Aga Top in Bee Linen

Changing your aga tops is always a quick and simple way to refresh the kitchen or add a splash of interest when you want an easy change.

I am a massive fan of Helen's Bee Collection, inspired by her beekeeping father, and these tops in that bestselling hand printed linen are just lovely.  Backed with heavy Italian towelling and a layer of wadding sandwiched between the two, each aga top is beautifully finished with a matching linen bias edging and a single line of stitching.  Sold as singles.

The hand carved Risotto Spoon in English Beech available at Rhubarb & Hare

Handmade Wooden Spoons

These wooden spoons from Tom Jones are constantly flying out the store.  They are particularly good at this time of year as stocking fillers or a little gift for that keen chef or baker in your life.  All made from English Beech they are incredibly tactile and beautiful to hold and to use.  Whether you want something quirky like the heart shaped or wiggly spoon, or maybe your loved one would prefer the risotto spoon whose shape is designed to make your risottos creamier or the double backed spoon which is genius when you’re baking and don’t want the spoon to clog.  There’s something for everyone.  Take a look at our range HERE

Handmade Lemon Squeezer

Handmade Lemon Squeezer

We just love the handmade kitchen ceramics collection from Sarah Jane Handmade and this lemon squeezer has fast become a firm favourite.

Hand-thrown in her garden studio in Dorset, they are made from a flecked stoneware clay and are so beautiful you'll want this on display when it's not in use.

HANDMADE crossover apron from Helen round designs

Handmade Crossover Apron

I am in love with the shape of these handmade crossover aprons which have already been picked up by Coast and Country Living magazines.

They are ridiculously comfortable and can be easily popped over your head so you can crack on with whatever baking, gardening, flower arranging, painting etc that you're up to and they have a big pocket either side.  The linen will soften with every wash so it grows more beautiful as it ages.  A real treat.

Handmade Lidded Pot In Grey Glaze

Handmade Lidded Pot

These lidded jars from Claire Folkes Ceramics, a small batch potter in rural Essex are just beautiful.  Each one is entirely hand thrown on the potters wheel in her studio and are perfect for storing tea, coffee, sugar or even your sourdough starter in the kitchen.

Handmade Berry Bowl

These handmade berry bowls made by Cambridgeshire small batch potter Menna at Cleiog Ceramics were an instant bestseller when we launched them this summer and sold out within 24 hours.

Each berry bowl comes with a handmade ceramic colander so you can wash your fruit and then rest it on the plate underneath.   It's so beautiful you can easily bring the fruit direct to the table in the bowl.  Inspired by French design this white glaze lets the natural speckle of the clay show through for that perfect rustic vibe.

We have more coming in at the end of November but you'll need to be quick.  Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear when they drop on the store.
