Cheers to Your Very Own Period Drama

A set of size liqueur glasses from The Vintage List - all hand blown and hand engraved

Have you been avidly watching House of Guinness on Netflix?

I have.  It’s my lunchtime treat.  I eat my lunch and I’m transported to 19th Century Dublin.  I love a period drama anyway but mix that in with a good family drama and I am SOLD.

So imagine my delight when I kept noticing that they were drinking out of glasses from The Vintage List

I first spotted the beautiful hand-blown and hand-engraved glassware from The Vintage List on a mooch around Liberty’s of London years ago just before I launched Rhubarb & Hare.  They looked just like the vintage glassware we’d been collecting but these are hand-blown, hand-engraved, lead-free crystal and able to go in the dishwasher.  WIN! WIN!

When I launched the store I knew I needed to stock their beautiful glasses and whatever the drink, whether it's a wee pre-supper sherry, a G&T of an evening, a cordial in the summer or a glass of fizz to celebrate, using their glassware always makes it feel like an occasion.  I swear I drink more water during the day when I use my beautiful rose pink tumbler.

So whatever your beverage of choice may be, have a look . . .my favourite design at this time of year is the Stars - so festive and they look perfect filled with bubbles amidst twinkling lights on shiny trays or tables strewn with candles and foliage.
