I love a versatile vase and this beautiful tall one from Claire Folkes Ceramics is no exception. It looks perfect whether you want to display a single stem, a small branch of blossom or fill it with a posy from the garden.
The soft grey glaze is a delicious translucent colour that will work in either a modern or traditional setting. Hand thrown it is fully glazed on the inside but the outer neck section has been cleverly double dipped in both matte grey and clear gloss, which exaggerates the throwing rings around the neck, and contrasts with the matte grey lower section.
Claire says she designs her pieces to be handled, used and loved and this vase will certainly become your firm favourite.
