I fell in love with this wee match stick holder as soon as I saw it.
The fashion for stripes and scallops is not going away any time soon and for me it it always going to be a winning combination.
The joyful colours of this match striker just filled me with happiness and I think its a brilliant way to bring some bold colour into your home after a long, cold, grey and rather wet winter. They'd make a lovely wee gift for Easter too!
Each pot has been hand cast by Hello Marilu in their South London studio. It is made from white marble Jesmonite, an eco-friendly safe alternative to resin or plaster, which has a luxe stoneware effect with a subtle sparkle. Each pot is then tinted to a warm shade of off white before the stripes are hand painted on in water based paint.
- The pot itself measures approx 5.75cm tall x 5cm wide
- Matches measure approx 9.7cm long
- Each pot has a strike disc at the bottom for lighting the matches
- The pot colours are hand mixed so there may be slight colour shade variations between batches
- Air bubbles are a natural part of the Jesmonite pouring process, so if you notice any small bubble holes, then rest assured that is completely natural...we think it adds to the handmade touch.
