I adore making risottos - they are so quick, easy and delish. And for my taste the creamier the better. And now they are even yummier with this traditional handmade risotto spoon.
Hand carved in English Beech the shape with its peaked corner means you can reach into all the sides and corners of your pan, whilst the rice travels through the hole in the middle. This smooth action means less grains are broken, making your risotto creamier and more delicious!
I've also heard that it's also a useful spoon for lifting boiled eggs from the pan - I've yet to try this but any excuse to have a dippy egg is fine by me!
A perfect little treat for you or a loved one, especially if you want a stocking filler.

These really are lovely, hand-crafted items and they were beautifully wrapped and packaged. Thank you, Ellen, for the little note and sprig of lavender too - a nice, personal touch! I won't have a chance to use the risotto spoons myself as I have bought them as gifts, but I am very much looking forward to giving them to my friends.
