The perfect accompaniment for your kitchen window sill, or beside your sink, filled with voluminous fresh basil, always ready to hand, or fill two with fragrant herbs or lavender and place on your garden table to ensure it's dressed all summer.
I adore these versatile planters which are classically beautiful and yet fresh at the same time. Each one has been handmade by Paige Mitchell in her Norwich studio. Inspired by antique pottery and classic shapes, these terracotta pots have a delicious frilly rim to both the pot and the matching stand and can be used either indoors or outdoors.
Hand thrown on the wheel each planter has a drainage hole punched into the base of the pot once the piece is leather hard. Stamped and fired in a single 1080 degree firing. The saucer is brushed with a water repellent coating after emerging from the kiln.
Also available in a smaller size in stoneware. Click HERE for more details.
