Sarah Jane makes our bestselling match strikers so when I spotted she was making these stunning handmade salt pigs I knew we had to have them. Hand-thrown in her garden studio in Dorset, they are made from a flecked stoneware clay and come complete with a handcrafted wooden spoon.
Not only is it incredibly beautiful, as well as useful, it is also, dishwasher safe.

United KingdomThe 'pig' is small (check dimensions), neat especially in limited surface space, the angled entrance gives good access to the salt. It is as shown in the photo, nicely formed with attractive finish. I like the simplicity of it, found very few similar when looking and this was the only with a grey/white finish. It was a present for someone and they are very pleased with it. I would prefer the right angle edges on the spoon handle to be smooth curves but it is proportionate to the pig and works well.
